Megan Tacked up Fire Burning. She patted his head then tightened his girth. She mounted him and rode to the starting line. Then she took off.

Carolyn waited patiently on Missy as the first person took off. The poor little mare was ancious to get going, and Carolyn was thankful she bought the extra tie-down since her main one broke. If Missy ran without a tie-down...Carolyn thought she might actually break her nose with the mare's excitement.
